Caterpillar 772 Rock Truck featuring: • CAT C18 ACERT Engine • Automatic 7 Speed Transmission • Cab (ROPS) w/ A/C • Supplemental Steering • Cold Weather Arrangement • Oil Immersed Disc Brakes • Extended Life Brakes • 51 Ton/41 CYD Capacity • Truck Payload Management System • Flat Floor Body • 21.00R33 Tires • Rear Michelin X-Tra Load Grip L4 Tires • Automatic Retarding Control • Cab Air Pre-Cleaner • Heated Side Mirrors • Rear View Camera • Fuel Heater • Wheel Chocks • Central Lubrication • Rated at 598 HP • Weight 80,000 LBS When unit arrived in yard, MEL had local CAT dealer complete the following: • Strip machine for power washing • CAT TA inspection • Update ECM flash files • Cut open all filters & inspect for contaminates - all clean • Service engine • Inspect magnetic plugs/screens & suction screens- all clean • Check oil levels • Inspect oils for discolouration • Check for logged & active codes & repair Completed the following pressure checks to ensure within OEM spec: • Engine rpm high & low idle • Engine oil high & low idle pressures • Fuel pressure • Full stall boost • Full stall speed • Transmission pump pressure • Transmission lube pressure • Steering pressure check • Steering high pressure cut-off • Hoist relief pressure • Brake cut-in/cut-out pressure Based on inspection, MEL completed the following repairs: • Installed NEW front brake pads & rotors • Installed NEW duo cone seal on front left wheel hub • REBUILT right rear brakes w/ all NEW plates & friction discs • Left rear brakes removed, cleaned, inspected & resealed • Installed NEW duo cone seal on rear wheel ends • Replaced all required brake hoses/lines • Installed NEW pins & bearings on rear suspension cylinders • Right rear suspension sensor broken – replaced sensor • Installed NEW transmission output shaft seal • Transmission filler joint coupler leaking – replaced coupling • Installed NEW oil drain line on turbo • Serviced DPF- field cleaned • Serviced emission system w/ NEW filter, DEF injector & spark plug • Replaced all required w/ NEW coolant lines • Installed NEW a/c compressor, accumulator & dryer • Replaced required hydraulic lines • Replaced required powertrain lines • Line bored rear box mount bores • Installed NEW box mount pins & bearings • Steering cylinders have play at barrel end - installed NEW tie rods • Line bored rear axle A-frame bore • Installed NEW pin & bearing in A-frame • Installed NEW pins & bearings in rear axle stay arm • Completed required cosmetic & welding repairs • Box bed was inspected & repaired as needed Machine is ready to go to work.
