CAT S340 5 tonne steel shear 2005 owned from new It was bought in to carry out a contract that was delayed to 2007 which it was used for 6 months after that it has been out about 10 times on 2 to 6 week projects. We have turned the blades had a new wear plate fitted and the edges hardox welded. The S340 shear has now been superseded by the CAT S3050 which retails just over £100k The shear is ready to go straight out to work, reason for the sale is I am retiring from the business.
