The Ancra 500mm Straight Winch Bar for Truck Winches is a shorter-length chrome winch bar designed specifically for the smaller winches typically fitted to truck and trailer applications, where a full-size 900mm or 1010mm bar would be unwieldy. The shorter shaft still gives the operator the leverage needed to tension a standard truck winch strap, while being easier to swing in confined working spaces around a truck cab or trailer frame. A bent tapered insertion end with a mushroom tip drops into the winch and stays seated under tension, which is the critical safety feature stopping the bar slipping free during the stroke. Manufactured from chrome-plated steel for corrosion resistance and a long working life. Important safety note: keep footing firm in cold or wet conditions, and never substitute a length of pipe or bar for a purpose-built winch handle, as it can slip free under tension and cause serious injury.
